The renovations are worth around $ 30,000. I am lucky to have a mom designer interior that was my project manager during all the renovations!

My father. who is an authorized training accountant, helped me enormously in all that was management of finance and budget [rires] and my mother, designer From interior to his account, was almost full time here to supervise the work and help entrepreneurs. Q: What is your favorite room in your condo?
I have a great attachment to my kitchen, I think it’s the place where I spend the most time. I wanted to have a large work plan. which is why I opted for an island rather than a kitchen table. I also really like to receive around the island! Unfortunately. Q: What are your favorite furniture in your condo?
There is my table, which acts as an office, which was made by my mother’s cousin, who is a cabinetmaker. I think it’s a family story once again because my grandfather was a cabinetmaker. and there are lots of his works that are on my walls! The family is really a word that could represent my accommodation. I have lots of memories of mine and that of my boyfriend everywhere in the condo. This is what makes me here, because I am surrounded by mine on a daily basis.
Otherwise, I really like my sofa, found at EQ3 in large liquidation. As my condo is rather [vidéo] visit felicia: condo design small. I wanted to have a small sofa that worked well in the room, with a sectional.
My granny gave me her large wooden mirror, which followed me in all my apartments. It’s a mirror mid-century which allows you to really enlarge my room. I love him well. In fact, he is my favorite piece of furniture, definitely!

Q: What are your favorite decor stores and that you like?
Oh there. I think like not bad everyone, I really like ikea for quality-price discoveries. I found several furniture there, especially storage, because I wanted to optimize this aspect by moving here. Q: Where do you find your decor items?
The majority of my decor is mainly memories of travel and family. I have printed photos and art brought back from abroad. As I like art, I am always looking for unique objects.

I really like the lamps, like the one in my living room and in my bedroom. Soft light is life. Big light is a no no [rires]. I really like the artist Ronan Bouroullec. My print From the living room was made by him!
Q: What inspired your decor?
I try to put colorful touches everywhere. In a accommodation that is still white and refined, I have lots of little pop color. The central element of all my pieces: plants. I really have a lot at home. I think that every time I go to a nursery. a shop that sells it, I come out with a plant [rires]! It makes me happy and it adds to my decor.

In general, what inspires my decor are travel, art, colors and family.
Q: Does your condo have a quirk (a defect)?
Well, there are a few, but we are not going to name them all [rires]. I think the biggest quirksince there is a lack of space. it is that I had to convert my dining room to an office as I am mainly by teleworking. So I can’t really receive many people! Otherwise. having my washer and dryer in the kitchen, when the time comes to make big screen, sometimes it prevents me from cooking. And it’s hot in summer [rires]!
Q: Why did you choose little Italy?
It is my 2nd apartment in little Italy. I find that it is a neighborhood that is full of lots of beautiful addresses! I like to do everything on foot: go to the Jean-Talon market, [vidéo] visit felicia: condo design shops, coffees, terraces in summer, etc. Very accessible too, full of parking And it’s close to the highway without being too close either. I always wanted to live in Montreal, but never in the city center. This neighborhood represents me super well!
Q: What are your favorite addresses in your neighborhood?
I am a big big fan of the Louise bakery. There is the Palais Bulles at the corner of my street which sells beautiful decor. The Peluso, a kind of small delicatessen, is a nice stop for microbrewery beers and to help me out. Certainly the Jean-Talon market, the granny bar and the Beaubien refreshment bar. Lots of good addresses!
