From June 30, five thematic bookmarks will be made available free of charge in partner bookstores to guide readers to the literary new features of the country. Meanwhile, Designed around five universes-children’s literature. For example, novel, new, essay & beautiful books, theater & poetry-these bookmarks highlight several emblematic titles, accompanied by inspiring catchphrases.
Each of them refers, via a QR code, to a website, which offers an enriched selection of a hundred references. For example, This operation aims to introduce the richness. plurality of Belgian literary genres, by offering each reader, according to their tastes and summer desires, an adapted reading proposal.
To prolong this dynamic. readers are invited to make their favorites known and suggestions for reading on social networks with the hashtag #unlivrebelgedansmalise. A friendly and spontaneous way to enhance the Belgian editorial talents and make them radiate beyond the this summer, why not belgian borders.
This unifying initiative is carried by ADEB. singular publishers, with the support of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, in order to promote the creativity and vitality of the Belgian editorial landscape. The operation brings together a wide range of French-speaking publishers. including: Abrapalabra, Academia, Alice Éditions, Amyris Éditions, CFC-Éditions, Les Impressions Nouvelles, Maelström Reevolution, Meo, Mijade, murmur of evenings, quadrature, root, southern youth … In total, dozens of publishing houses participate in this project, illustrating the wealth and diversity of the Belgian edition.
The association of Belgian publishers (ADEB) represents more than 90 publishing houses. as well as professional broadcasters and distributors of the book in French. It acts as a privileged interlocutor with authorities and cultural partners, in Belgium and internationally.
The collective Les Publishers Singuliers. which brings together 58 Belgian French -speaking publishing houses, conducts collective promotion actions, organizes events and coordinates the participation of its members in many this summer, why not belgian book fairs in Belgium and France, such as the Poetik Bazar.
