Criticism of the short film Chaos d’Anthology: the film of a too viral party

From the first minutes, I was caught up in the meticulous reconstruction of the Haren evening. If the factual approach makes it possible to avoid artifices, it also makes the narrative a little clinical. I regret a more immersive staging or more emotional testimonies. Between archives. screenshots and interviews, I sometimes had the impression of attending a modern history course rather than a living film. This breath is missing that would have made chaos more visceral.

A more ambitious document could have drawn the quintessence of this digital chaos.
