With the Wolfgang Tillmans exhibition, the Pompidou center tells you goodbye to 2030

The Pompidou centerone of the most radical and appreciated cultural institutions in Paris, is about to close its doors this fall for a major five -year renovation.

This renovation provides for the asbestos removal of all the facades. For example, significant improvements in fire safety and the reconfiguration of whole floors, including the creation of a new level dedicated to children.

Its vast collection of modern and contemporary masterpieces will be dispersed in the museums of Paris, France and elsewhere.

The work should start by the end of 2025 and the reopening is scheduled for 2030.

Today, the last large exhibition before the closure of Pompidou is a vast retrospective of the German photographer Wolfgang Tillmans.
