This Tuesday, August 12, the former football player celebrated his daughter’s 10th anniversary, Tatiana, sharing a series of photos on her Instagram account, including one where they appear together.
“Happy 10th anniversary to our princess. We love you so much! I hope you enjoyed your day ”. It is with these few words, sober but imbued with tenderness, that Thierry Henry came out of his usual discretion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his younger daughter, Tatiana. The 1998 world champion accompanied this nice message with a carousel of photos showing her daughter to the beach, dressed in a blue and white set with a Liberty print, pose proudly, like a large one, on the fine sand or jump into the air.
A striking resemblance
On another snapshot, Thierry Henry, black cap on the head and sunglasses screwed on the nose, poses with Tatiana, a smile on his lips, her arm tenderly covering the shoulders of the little girl who already seems very large for her age. Same facial expression, same nose, same smile … Father-daughter resemblance is striking. Just like the pride of Thierry Henry, which has always been very reserved and modest.

At 47, the former footballer, now a sports commentator, takes advantage of his new life away from the field to spend time with his four children. It was in 2005 that he discovered the joys of paternity with the birth of his daughter Téa, the fruit of his loves with the English model Nicole Merry. The couple separated a few months later, just before Thierry Henry, who played for Arsenal, was transferred to FC Barcelona.
In Spain, the sportsman fell in love with another model, Andrea Rajačic. Originally from Bosnia, the latter visited her sister when she crossed paths with the footballer. Two years after their love at first sight, Thierry Henry and Andrea Rajačic welcomed their first child together, a little boy named Tristan. Their family then expanded with the arrival of Tatiana, in August 2015, then that of another little boy, Gabriel, in November 2016.
“Saved by her children”

At the time, the former footballer devoted himself fully to this new role which fascinated him, but his momentum had been brutally slowed down by the pandemic. “I didn’t know where I was mentally going to. I came home after being blocked for a year in Montreal, because of the covid. I was about to leave for Canada, without knowing if I was going to be blocked there for several months for several months, “he said.
What had caused the click? The tears of his partner, his children, and even the baby-sitter, at the time he was preparing his belongings to go back to Canada. “For the first time, I felt human. I said to myself: “They see me, not the athlete”. They were crying for me. I’m not saying they had never done it before, but I hadn’t experienced it this way. For the first time, the young me, as a child, received what he was trying to have with love. I put my things and stayed. I stopped training Montreal. My children love Thierry. Not Thierry Henry, ”he concluded, tears in his eyes.
