I am often on the island of Bréhat, where I have a house. But I often stay on the pebble, I don’t move much. This is the first time that I have come to attend the Paimpol sailor’s song festival. I am delighted. I spend a wonderful day with lots of sun, full of boats. I received a great welcome from the captains of the ships. And there are also lots of wonderful singers. I am very very happy with my day under an explosive sun so dear to Brittany.
What has marked you the most on the festival?
These are mainly the visits to the boats. These are really ships from all backgrounds, from all eras. I really like to get into boats that are very old because, suddenly, we really have the whole history of the country. I had a back grandfather who was an Iceland fisherman. So when I get on an old boat, it reminds me of childhood memories that I have been told. I am very interested in all these old rigs. I like these old boats that have a particular story. I find it exciting. This is really the visit of the boats I prefer.

Do you have the opportunity to navigate?
I sail in the sector with friends who have boats. I am not a big sailor. I love being taken away from me and that I am brought to me on the waters. The sea, I love it. It is not possible not to like the sea when you live on an island.
You have a strong attachment to the island of Bréhat.
Yes, my parents got married in Bréhat. My grandparents were from Bréhat. I have strong Breton ancestry. I spent all my long holidays from 0 to 22 years old on the island of Bréhat, in Paimpol and Ploubazlanec. These are the roots of my childhood, of my family. It’s my Madeleine de Proust. I am a child in the country. Almost a Bréhatin.
Have you ever turned in the sector?
I filmed several times in Brittany, as in Perros-Guirec and Vannes, my first “Agatha Christie” TV movies in Saint-Brieuc and Quintin. I have never shot in Paimpol or Bréhat but I hope it will happen.
What is your news?
I come back from the Avignon Festival where I played my show “Antoine Duléry Bed between the lines” for a month. I’m starting a tour from September. And right now, I’m shooting a film by Tarek Boudali, from the band to Fifi, which is called “Somnambule” and which will be released next year.
