It is the first time that a set of financial manuals intended for 12 high school classes has been compiled and published.
On August 18, the Vietnam Education publishing house, in collaboration with Tan Viet Book Company – Tan Viet Bookstore, organized a program to present the series of “Financial Education” books.
The series of books on financial education compiled by MSC. Thuy Sen, for the first time, built a complete system of school financial knowledge, adapted to the 2018 general education program, combining financial and banking theory with cultural values, ethics and life skills.
Ms. Le Thi Thuy Sen was once known as the author of the book “Be intelligent with money – avoid concerns” – the most important publication on education for personal financial skills in Vietnam.

Speaking during the program, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, stressed: “The series of books on financial education is not only a published product, but also the expression of passion and conviction of the Vietnam Education publishing house towards the young Vietnamese generation. »» He hopes that these simple financial lessons will help children gradually develop a solid financial mentality and learn to manage their money in an intelligent, human and responsible manner. This series of books will constitute a useful learning material, precious background and a precious companion for children on the way to adulthood.
“Financial education” is a collection of books for CP students at the final year. Its modern design, its quadrichromy printing and its 19 x 26.5 cm format make it unique. The series will be published in 2025 at a price of 20,000 to 28,000 euros per book. This is the first time that a collection of financial education books has been offered to CP students at the final year.
The series of books consists of 3 parts, scientifically organized, precious in terms of knowledge, guaranteeing interdisciplinary and educational aspects adapted both to teaching and learning at all levels with the criteria of ease of memorization – ease of understanding – ease of absorption – ease of application and interest.
Thus, the books from 1st to 5th year help students correctly understand money – developing a first awareness of the value of money, spending judiciously, knowing how to save, loving work and sharing.
The books from 6th to 9th year contain content on financial reflection – common learning – intelligent use, helping to provide students with basic knowledge on customs and practices related to money, digital money, careers and income in the context of technology; Basic understanding of savings – expenses – payments and investments.
Books for levels 10 to 12, financial intelligence – future independence, help students better understand the economy, such as economic factors and the relationship between economic factors (exchange rate, credit, interest rate, etc.), the investment environment, personal financial management, etc.
The “Financial Education” collection is based on a complete system of knowledge in economics and finance, associated with a humanist educational approach. To make the work accessible to students, the author uses many popular songs, proverbs, idioms, news, daily anecdotes, ancient stories, national traditions and familiar cultural symbols to transmit financial knowledge to them.
The content is designed to integrate financial and banking knowledge into moral education, life skills and civic education. Thus, this series of books meets the requirements of ease of reading, learning, understanding and application, and constitutes an essential educational support for schools wishing to teach the second session to students.

“This book does not teach how to become rich, but helps children understand finance and know how to manage their finances to have a better life”, shared the author Thuy Sen.
Commenting on the book, Professor Dr. Hoang Van Cuong – Member of the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly, Vice -President of the Council of State for Professors said: ” Money is something familiar to everyone (from children to the elderly), but not everyone understands the money properly, many people make mistakes because of money.
Financial education helps students to acquire basic knowledge on money, namely how to use money appropriately, to see the mechanism for the management of the monetary policy of the State Bank and to understand the financial relations related to the use of money to reflect and make appropriate choices when they decide to participate.
