Emblematic figure of season 7 of “love is in the meadow”, Thierry Olive is preparing to close an important chapter of his life. The one who had marked viewers by his good humor and his outspokenness will sell his 33 hectare farm located in the Sarthe. Objective: turn the page on agriculture to devote itself to a new project with his wife Annie, met on the program over ten years ago.
In an interview with “La Presse de la Manche”, he said he wanted to refocus on their cottage. “We opened it a year ago. It is thanks to Annie, because I have trouble with the internet. Our business works well and does not ask for much work, so it will be perfect for retirement, ”explains the man who will soon return to the screen to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the M6 show.
Released from the constraints of work in the fields, Thierry dreams of novelty. “I want to discover the products of our terroir, go to Alsace for example … France is beautiful and I do not know it,” he says. A program he intends to share with hand in hand with Annie, his wife for 13 years.
