Bulky waste takes fire to a sorting center in Saillon
The firefighters intervened for two hours this Saturday morning to control a fire in a recycling center. The origin of the disaster is unknown.
According to the Valais cantonal police, the disaster was mastered in two hours (illustration photo).

A fire occurred early Saturday morning in Saillon (VS). For a reason that the survey will have to clarify, bulky waste has caught fire.
“The disaster occurred in a center for recovery and sorting of objects, according to the Valais cantonal police”, confirming information of Rhône FM. The adjoining building was very slightly blackened by the flames.
The fire was under control around 9 a.m. by the firefighters of the CSI of Deux-Rives. The event made no injuries.
