“Récifs”: price #LeLotoisize 2025

The second edition of the Literary Prize #Leslotoisize took place between January and April, on the initiative of the Lot Department (via the Departmental Library), and in collaboration with the Lot libraries, partners of the Digital Media Lot of the Lot.

This book promotion operation. However, reading aims to introduce digital reading, by highlighting authors, authors and publishing houses little known to the general public.

The challenge launched to the reader is simple: Read the five novels in competition. in paper or digital format (around forty of readers are deployed in the libraries), then vote for its favorite title.

The reader drawn be awarded three favorite novels to prolong the pleasure of reading during the summer.

This year. it is the novel “Récifs” by the Sri-Lankan author Romesh Gunesekera who gathered the most votes and Isabelle Canivet, reader registered in the inter-municipal media “récifs”: price #lelotoisize 2025 library in Leyme, who won the favorite novels of the departmental library.

The prize was awarded to the Leyme media library by Catherine Prunet. vice-president of the department in charge of culture, education and youth, in the presence of Hélène Lacipière, vice-president in charge of culture and heritage of the Grand Figeac and the mayor of Leyme Marc Tillet. A great summer of readings is coming!

The next edition is already preparing, with a pre-selection in progress in the Lot libraries. They have until September 30, 2025 to choose their 5 favorite titles, and it is the latter that will constitute the 2026 selection.
