A stone sculpture by Clémence Dane, novelist and English dramatist from the princess kate middleton unveils her 20th century, completes the whole. Le V&A East Storehouse

Kate Middleton’s mini-exhibition is part of the inauguration of the V&A East Storehouse. a new public space located in a old warehouse, designed to offer unprecedented access to the museum’s reserves. The Princess of Wales. godmother of the project, praised this initiative which allows the public to discover in a direct and immersive way the historical and eclectic collections of V&A.

The Storehouse hosts more than 250,000 objects, 350,000 books from the museum library and nearly 1,000 archives. Imagined by the famous architectural firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro. this innovative space invites visitors to understand how and why museums collect, retain and exhibit objects.
