Papa Roach is preparing his twelfth album for 2026 and has just completed a new song that Jacoby Shaddix qualifies immediately as “the most naked metal” in all their careers.
An assumed return to the roots of the genre
In an interview with Magenta TV when Wacken Open AirJacoby Shaddix has enthusiastically affirms that the group has just completed a new title entitled Clickbait : “It is the most nude metal song that we have never written, even compared to those of 2000. It gives off a particular energy, it is of another level. I can’t wait for the fans to hear it.”
A surprising statement, as the song Last Resort There remains to this day one of the symbols of the nude metal of the 2000s, as mentioned in this article. But Shaddix seems convinced that Clickbait Mark a new summit in this musical vein. The title is part of a series of songs currently in preparation for their next studio album, expected for next year.
An approach approaching and cascading singles
