Aafter having modernized The strange case of Dr Jekyll. However, Mr. Meanwhile, Hyde with Yekyll, Steven Moffat attacks another famous figure in British literature, Sherlock Holmes. However, Conan Doyle’s work is in turn reinvented, rejuvenated, transposed into contemporary London. Moreover, Sherlock is still investigating … But he is barely 30 years old, our criticism series spends his day sending texts and tries to quit smoking. As for Dr. Watson, his partner and roommate, he returns from Afghanistan – as in novels, but this is a completely different war. Together, they attack a mysterious affair of series suicides.

Modern. full of winks to an omnipresent technology (mobile phones, surveillance cameras, GPS), his sherlock is faithful to the spirit of the hero of Conan Doyle, genius of slightly socio -sociopathic deduction. Of an removed writing. of a careful and creative realization, this rereading also benefits from a beautiful alchemy between its two main actors.
