Not proud of pride Montreal!

When I learned “that representatives of the institutional Jewish community have been reinforced in walking in the parade of pride”, I told myself that it was obvious.

Indeed, a community that wants to be “inclusive” cannot exclude members who do not think like them.

But it is also a scathing disavowal of Safia Nolin: it is not because a singer refuses to participate in a proud Montreal event that the festival must split in four to make her happy! There are still limits to be folded in front of the whims and the militant opinions of the smallest artist who is offended!

The pride of the Middle East

From the start, the organizers of pride Montreal should never have excluded gays and lesbians because of their religion or because of their nationality or because of the decisions taken by the Prime Minister of a country which is 8778.98 km from here!

I wonder if, instead of reading the declarations on the social media of a singer who affirms every six months that she leaves social media, the organizers of pride Montreal have inquired a little about the Jews, on Israeli society and the treatment of 2SLGBTQIA+ in this small country of the Near East.

Quiz question: in which country of the Middle East a Gay Pride (did gay pride parade) take place in June of this year? No, it is not in Tehran, Damascus, or Amman, Jordan.

• Also listen to this Balado episode taken from the Francis Gosselin show, broadcast on QUB platforms and simultaneously on the 99.5 FM Montreal:

The Gay Pride took place on Friday June 13, 2025 in Tel Aviv, an ultra-unbridled city, which has tons of gay bars, LGBT associations and which organizes a large party that lasts for two days, with rainbow flags everywhere in town … for 25 years.

Do they know that even the ultra-Orthodox conservative movement approved the ordination of homosexual rabbis? (We are still waiting to know in which Muslim country we find homosexual imams.)

Do they know that in 1998, it was a trans woman, Dana International, who represented Israel at theEurovision?

Do they know that Tel Aviv has already been elected the most gay-friendly in the world and that gay tourism is flourishing in Israel, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism?

Do they know that in 1998, Michal Eden became the first elected officially lesbian in Israel? And that in 2002, Uzi Even became the first openly Israeli politician to sit at the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament.

(We are still looking for openly homosexual deputies in Muslim countries neighboring Israel.)

But why trust what I say, me? They can read the newspaper The world:

“In addition to the recognition of homosexual marriages contracted outside the country and the legalization of adoptions by same -sex couples, there are many other examples of laws intended to advance the rights of homosexuals, such as the adoption of an antibcriminal policy within the Israeli army in 1993.”

What moral compass?

I am delighted with the decision of pride Montreal, but I do not congratulate them. Evil is done. Jewish organizations will feel as welcome to the parade as an elephant in a porcelain store. What a mess! The rainbow has an eye with black butter.
