“My inspiration is the dream of children”: the undersides of giant paint frescoes in Tarbes

“I said to myself that it would be nice to make the support between parents. children. My inspiration is the dream of children they can have every day. I really believe that parents support children to make them. This is why I drew this child who steals held by the arms of his father” explains Dodici.

This wall was chosen for its proximity to the crèche the drop of milk. The painter used a mixture of techniques: traditional paint for background and bomb paint for drawings.

A municipal project

This project is initiated by the municipality of Tarbes. The town hall has decided to repaint three walls of the city center on a common theme by large frescoes. Nearby, Place du Foirail, another wall has already been painted by the artist Tarbais Enzo. The last fresco, initially planned earlier, was postponed in October due to setback. Designed to set up in neighborhoods close to schools. nurseries, the project aims to bring color and meaning to public spaces.

Beyond painting, this project was also a rich human experience for Edoardo. “The experience was great, it allowed me to meet great people,” he said. Edoardo and Enzo had already met Miami some time ago, where they were the only two guest artists. From this distant meeting was born a bond that they found with pleasure in Tarbes.
