Milan women’s fashion week reveals an intense program for September

From Paris to Milan, the female ready-to-wear season for spring-summer 2026 promises to be particularly exciting, marked by a kyrielle of creative beginnings. In the Lombard capital, it is no less than twelve names that integrate Fashion Week, which will be held from September 23 to 29, compensating for eleven absences with a feedback, emerging labels and new aesthetic chapters, such as at Gucci, Jil Sander and Bottega Veneta. Without forgetting the show-event for the 50th anniversary of the Giorgio Armani house.

It is therefore 55 physical parades (including Emporio Armani scrolling twice), which are expected during this week, against 54 last February, to which are added, on the day of closing, Monday May 29, four parades in digital format: Maxivive, and the new names Mein Corp of the Italian designer Lorenzo Sala, the Ukrainian brand launched in 2008 Nadya Dyzak and Zenam, Paul Tannkou’s label from Cameroon, previously present in the male calendar.

During the opening day on Tuesday September 23, all eyes will be pointed out on Gucci and the first collection of Demna. Although appearing in the program of parades, it will be a presentation, as specified by Francesca Bellettini, deputy director general of Kering, in charge of the development of houses, during the recent publication of the half -yearly results. The new artistic director will deliver on this occasion “his vision and a complete collection presented static to remind people what Gucci is”, while his first parade will be held in March.

The next day, September 24 will be Simone Bellotti’s turn to start with Jil Sander, while Louise Trotter will unveil her first collection for Bottega Veneta, Saturday 27, back in the calendar after skipping in February.

Among the other highlights announced, the mixed parade of Fendi, Wednesday, September 27, which continues to celebrate its centenary with a show organized under the supervision of Silvia Venturini Fendi, and the fifty years of the Giorgio Armani house, with an exhibition of 150 models from its archives, which will be inaugurated on September 24 in the Brera Pinacotèque, and a birthday show, Closing in the honor courtyard of this same Brera Palace La Fashion Week, Sunday, September 28.

On the other hand, it will be necessary to wait until next winter to attend the first parade of Versace under the aegis of its new creator Dario Vitale. The claw, recently passed into the fold of the Prada group, does not parade this season, but it will be present in the calendar of presentations with an event scheduled on September 26, described as “confidential” to reveal the first looks of its stylist.

It will also be necessary to follow carefully, on Wednesday, September 24, the first steps on the Milanese podiums of the British ready-to-wear claw Knwls. With its sexy and y2k silhouettes, and its empowerment Female, the London label has been surfing success for a few years, dubbed by many celebrities. Launched in 2017 by the Englishman Charlotte Knowles with his partner, the Canadian Alexandre Arsenault, he was a finalist in the LVMH 2022 prize and is distributed in more than 50 top multi -brand shops in the world.

This week of women’s fashion also welcomes many returns, like those of Boss, Calcaterra, Federico Cina, The Attico and Stella Jean, absent in recent seasons, as well as that of the Anglo-Nigerian Ineye Tokyo James, who had paraded for the first time in Milan in February 2022, then eclipsed until returning last March, Phan Dang Hoang, who after his debut in Milan in September 2024, had skipped. Also note the arrival in the female program of the Indian Dhruv Kapoor and Pierre-Louis Mascia, who paraded until January in the male calendar.

Also on the poster, on Sunday 28, the Milano Moda Graduate parade, bringing together promising talents from Italian fashion schools arriving at its 11th edition, while Saturday 27 will be given the prices of the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards competition, the eco-durable fashion Oscars initiated by the Italian fashion chamber in 2017.

This summer session records a dozen packages. Apart from Versace, are also absent from the calendar of Marni and Bally parades, also in the transitional phase following the departure of their creative directors, while Fiorucci moved in June in male Fashion Week. Nor is the Swedish label in the Provisional Program Avavav, which has been paralying in Milan since September 2023, and Susan Fang, who had paraded in March with the support of Dolce & Gabbana. Also jump their turn Philipp Plein, K-Way and Dsquared2.

Milan Fashion Week will nevertheless be able to count, as always, on the stars of made in Italy With, among others, Prada, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, and Max Mara.
