Michel Poiriault goes vagabondage with his first book – Info-chalon.com

“This damn abécédaire gone in vagabondage”such is the title of the first book written by Michel Poiriault, our colleague at Info- Chalon.com, which we know by his relevant, rich and complete articles, when artists who are singers or actors. The man-writer of the day wants to be a little “shy” having said “a little trouble putting me in front! »»

However, he was kind enough to answer a few questions on the occasion of the release of his first book with the evocative title “Acquisite party in vagabondage”

Info-chalon: “Michel that they are the reasons that have motivated you to write these texts and especially to want to disseminate them? »»

Michel Poiriault : “I always liked to write and these texts came more or less spontaneously. I just got 70 years on May 13 (2025) so I decided to mark the occasion, to have a different way of seeing things and then, modestly, to leave a trace with my children and grandchildren.

Why “Accessary”? It seemed to me the easiest way, and perhaps the easiest, to write a feeling rather than writing a biography or an essay.

It is in a way a collection of news, without any pretension, just to link a close link with a possible audience, in a sense of sharing. Proximity and sharing it was these two words that guided me in my writing of this book. »»

IC: “The choice of title is not trivial” this damn abécédaire gone in vagabondage “. You set the tone for this abécédaire in your introductory offers “The lax word trainer has not sacrificed his principles, nor makes, by ease, the bed of the shirt” further specifying that “The funny bird has gone on a simulacrum of abeledary” Speaking of yourself. Is it self-teller or self-deception that you have “tinkered”?

MP : “Let’s be clear. I admit that I went to the unknown and I am still with this first book, which could also be the last … (laughs)

What I especially want is that this book brings something, if only one person. If I hadn’t written anything that person would never have had the little click.

For the title you understood this I decline all the letters of the alphabet “A, B, C, etc until Z. I then had to find the theme of each letter and therefore a word. My first word was “love” and this word spoke to me more than others. Then it was “baggage”, “contemplation”, “desire” and so on to finish with “zenitude” having passed for example by “lamentation”, “orphan”, “fox,” or even “old age”.

Are there short texts and long texts, depending on my logic and my evolution? Above all, I wanted to diversify so as not to put the reader to put the reader and not get him used to a certain reading. People can thus come back to each of the letters and thus not lose the thread. »»

IC: “You have prefaced your book by one of our colleagues, Emmanuel Mère, a well -known writer. He specifies in the preface “Nothing of the texts of the” Fargeois “borrows from the rudimentary, nor to any ease of use. His all personal discount is organized in 27 very diverse subjects which he sweeps from his verve and a sharp intellect to the extreme. ».

MP : “You know Emmanuel Mother well is a longtime friend. He has very much proven himself as a writer and local press correspondent. He advised me in any way and I thank him.

You can also notice the cover of the book. It is like an explosion of letters festively. All these letters want to travel to the universe with an idea of brightness, all unpretentious.

IC: “Concretely how can the public get your book?” »»

MP : “I am in auto edition. I ordered for a hundred pounds at the printer. It’s up to me to manage broadcasting.

The sale price was set at € 19 (excluding any shipping costs)

The “Au Van du Van” bookstore, 6 rue du Blé in Chalon sur Saône has gently agreed to take up my books and interested people can also contact me by email to email [email protected]. I would send them the book after regulation. All this not before a dozen days, the time given by the printer of the books.

For having discovered Michel Poiriault’s book “This damn abécédaire who has gone in vagabondage”, there is something to find material for reflection, with seriousness but also humor; tenderness and especially feelings. A real invitation to travel, as the author invites you to participate with him. A good book for the holidays that are announced.
