Still anonymous a year ago, Marine Today is one of the most listened to the singers on the French -speaking scene, both on listening platforms and radio. Also, it is with grateful that she evokes today the Star Academythe program that revealed it to the general public a few months ago. “With me, I looked at the first seasons, with Grégory Lemarchal in particular, and it is true that it is not something that I would have imagined doing in my life”she recalls. “It was an unattainable dream for me, and it is thanks to that in part that I am there.”
Back on the success of “my fault”, now available in two versions
Indeed, it is thanks to the tele-hook that many viewers discovered the title My faultrecorded by the singer in 2022, before entering the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. A dazzling breakthrough for Marine, who before the program, would never have imagined knowing such a success. “I was aware that the chorus was effective, that he remained in the lead, but it was something that I had recorded quickly with my father, in my room”she says. “I had taken it out because my friends liked it, for my loved ones, but I never thought that one day it would have as much visibility, that people were going to love it, recognize themselves in it and sing it by heart. It’s crazy.”
Once out of the Star Academy, Marine will also re -record this same song, in a new more “professional” version which will also make a box with her fans.
It must be said that at the time, the singer and her father had to settle for an improvised studio and first prize equipment. As soon as she had the opportunity, Marine was therefore keen to highlight the words of this song, with better sound quality. “Personally, I prefer the 2025 version, because it was my dream to reproduce it in a professional version”she explains. “”In the model, there is something touching, homemade, but we hear my voice that is different. And the institutes are something I had done myself, on a softwarel. (…) So the goal was to redo it in 2025 version, with my voice today and with a professional who knows how to do it. “
After the Star Academy, Marine continues the adventure with a tour and an album
Likewise, Marine wishes to surround herself well when, in parallel with the Star Academy tour, she begins to work on new songs. Besides Sage, Icare, Joseph Kamel and Adrien Gallo, she thus calls for Eddy de Prettoafter crossing it by chance during a dinner. “I went to see him, he was at the next table, and I told him in the form of a joke: Monsieur de Pretto, a featuring on my first album?”she reports.
Result: the rapper agrees to write two titles to him: Ordinary girl et Remains of showerswhich appear on his first album, Clumsy heartalongside My fault and Dalidaevoking with emotion Alzheimer’s Alzheimer. “This is one of those I prefer in the album”she says elsewhere. “In the end, it may be the most sincere. Even if they are all, this one is a very intimate, very personal subject, and oddly, it is one of those I wrote most quickly, just a few hours.”
Moreover, Marine will have the opportunity to defend her new songs during His own tour in the coming months. She will thus stop in Belgium on December 16, 2025 for a concert at the Liège Forum, then on January 7, 2026 at the Royal Cirque in Brussels, and a few days later, on January 11, at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi.
