How did the idea of creating this book come from?
Twenty years ago, the rural home decided to living memory looks villardonnel: photo new make small books in the village. All these photos entrusted by the old people of the village, I scanned them to keep them. Having archived everything, I wanted to share these treasures by making a book of memories.
How to summarize your work?
Over the years, I have gathered a precious photographic heritage. This goes through miners of the salsigne. Villardonnel mines, farmers, craftsmen, traders and all the life of the village, with a book of illustrations.
You also have a whole year of events, cultural, festive or communal.
In 2015, I decided to do so. At that time, I covered the festivals that took place in the village. In 2023, I decided to do so on all the demonstrations without exception. This gives a book of one hundred and thirty pages, available to the town hall.
In Villardonnel, there are four associations that help each other, with different activities.
