Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) delivered 50,129 vehicles in July, marking its first monthly delivery exceeding the 50,000 unit mark and setting a new record high for the third consecutive month, according to data released today.
The monthly volume increased by 126.90 percent year-on-year from 22,093 units in July 2022 and grew by 4.42 percent month-on-month from 48,006 units in June.
So far this year, Leapmotor has delivered 271,793 vehicles, up 149.84 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
As of the end of July, Leapmotor had accumulated total deliveries of 871,341 vehicles since its establishment.
Leapmotor aims to sell between 500,000 and 600,000 vehicles in 2025, its founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming said on March 11.
The company delivered 293,724 vehicles in 2024, up 103.76 percent from 2023.
Leapmotor currently sells the T03, B10, B01, C01, C10, C11, and C16 in China.
The T03, B01, and B10 are available only as battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, while the other models are also available as extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs).
The Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker, backed by Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), launched the B01 electric sedan on July 24 with a starting price of RMB 89,800 ($12,460).
The B01 is the second model in its B series, which is aimed at a market segment with lower prices than the C series and higher sales volumes.
On July 27, Leapmotor announced on Weibo that the B01 had received 10,132 pre-orders within 72 hours of its launch.
On July 30, the company saw the 10,000th B01 roll off the production line, less than a week after the model’s launch.
