Langonais painter Roland Bousquet offered a painting in the media library. The opening of the exhibition of the work took place on Friday, August 1, in the evening, in the media library of the Gargantua space, in the presence of a hundred people.
“Roland lived his childhood in Langogne and he kept very rich memories of that time and in particular his schooling at the Saint-Joseph school which was on this place, Tracked Francis Chabalier, president of the Community of Haut Allier Margeride (Ccham) and friend of the artist. The Association of Friends of the Heritage of Langogne and its surroundings published a work recalling the history of this school of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.”
On a wall of Gargantua public space, we can find the frame of this story. “”By discovering the media library, last summer, Roland Bousquet offered me to make a painting expressing the transition between the Saint-Joseph school and the Gargantua space fitted out with the media library and to offer it to the Community of Haut Allier Margeride communes.
