Kate Middleton has a very full agenda. Even on vacation, the Princess of Wales does not forget to continue her commitments. This Wednesday, August 6 – under the aegis of its Royal Foundation, the Center for Early Childhood -, the wife of the prince William Launched a series of seven educational videos intended to help children evolve in a healthy environment.
“Early childhood is recognized as a golden opportunity to build solid foundations for a future, healthy and happy life,” explains Kate Middleton in a press release. The new animated films of the Center of Early Childhood show how adults can create benevolent and affectionate interactions with children, thus helping to promote their social and emotional development from their first years. »»
Princess Kate – Mother of three children – wanted to fully invest in the project of her foundation by getting involved in the creation of short films. To do this, she spent time with two illustrators and with early childhood professionals who also brought their expertise to the development of the project.

The series, available on youtube in English, was also translated into Welsh and British sign language. The seven animated films thus offer a wide panel of learning where early childhood professionals are led to rethink their interactions with toddlers. On the program: learn to listen to the emotional state of a child, help him manage it, understand how to adapt to his pace and his learning capacities.
Center for Early Childhood was founded in 2021 in line with Kate Middleton’s royal and humanitarian commitment. Today, with this audiovisual project, the association can count on 25 organizations which undertake to use its series in their work by integrating it into training or by sharing them within their networks.
