Joao Felix has just given his answer to Al-Nassr as Saudi Arabian club make their move

Chelsea outcast Joao Felix is wanted by his former club Benfica and Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr.

Earlier this week, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Benfica were working hard to sign Felix from the Blues.

However, since then, Romano has given a couple more updates about Felix’s future.

As well as the 25-year-old, Raheem Sterling is also set to leave Chelsea this summer. It has been claimed that Juventus are interested in signing Sterling before the transfer market shuts.

Chelsea outcast Joao Felix says ‘yes’ to Al-Nassr’s proposal

Benfica are very keen on bringing Felix back to the club. Reports in Portugal have even claimed that Benfica have saved the No.10 shirt for Felix.

Unfortunately for Bruno Lage’s side, though, it does not look like there will be a homecoming for the forward.

Romano has revealed on X that Felix has said “yes” to Al-Nassr’s proposal in a blow to Benfica.

It is good news for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now set to link up with his Portugal teammate at Al-Nassr.

In April, The Chelsea Chronicle was informed that Ronaldo had been speaking to Felix about the ex-Atletico Madrid star potentially moving to the Saudi Pro League.

Chelsea could make profit from Joao Felix sale

Felix joining Al-Nassr would also be good news for Chelsea. Chelsea had been resisting Benfica’s advances for Felix, hoping that another club who were willing to pay their price tag would arrive at the table.

That has now happened, with Al-Nassr ready to pay over £40m for Felix. It means Chelsea could be about to make some profit, having already received £5m from AC Milan after letting the Portugal international join them on loan during the January transfer window.

Given Felix’s lack of success at Stamford Bridge and the fact that Chelsea are trying to get rid of him, that would be fantastic business. If his move to Al-Nassr goes through, those involved in the deal from the Chelsea side deserve a lot of credit.
