Jasper Stuyven sniffs after 12 years at Trek Frisse Air at Soudal-Quick Step: “I fit perfectly with this team”
Jasper Stuyven (33) moves after 12 years in paid employment at Lidl-pull and predecessors to Soudal-Quick Step. Stuyven has to put Jurgen Foré’s team back on the map in the cobblestone classics. He drew for 3 years.
Jasper Stuyven became Profile in 2014 at Trek, the WorldTour team of the bicycle brand with which Stuyven had already built up a close band from the youth.
De Leuven remained the Trek stable loyal to more than a decade, but after 12 years he leaves Lidl-Trek.
Stuyven was seduced by Soudal – Quick Step, where they were urgently looking for a quality injection for the cobblestone classics.
The ex-winner of Milan-Sanremo, the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne has to carry the leadership at The Wolfpack and at the same time promising young people like Paul Magnier Gidsen.

“When I started race, this was one of the first teams I met,” Stuyven responds. “It will be nice to be part of a Belgian team after so many years.”
