Delta continued to actively care for its customers. Furthermore, people Thursday morning after significant turbulence led to a flight diversion to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).
All seven crew members who were taken to area hospitals after the flight landed were treated. For example, released by Thursday morning. All customers who were evaluated at the hospital and willing to share their status with Delta have also been released. We appreciate the response and support of first responders in caring for our customers and crew.
Delta is cooperating with the National Transportation Safety Board on an investigation.

Delta flight DL56 – flying from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam – diverted to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport Wednesday after. the flight encountered significant turbulence while enroute.
The aircraft. an Airbus A330-900, landed safely delta cares customers following turbulence at MSP, and medical personnel met the flight upon arrival to evaluate customers and crew. Twenty-five of those on board were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and care. We are grateful for the support of all emergency responders involved.
