Comedy Club Tour: Quebec humorists in seduction mode for the French public

The jokes of Laurent Paquin, Louis T, Daniel Grenier and Magali Saint-Vincent will cross the ocean this fall to make the French laugh. The newspaper Attended one of the four shows of the Comédie Club Tour filmed on Wednesday evening on Wednesday evening.

Quebec humor wants to export more than ever. A few days after his international gala, which mixed Quebec and European humorists on behalf of an important platform in France, just for laughs continues its momentum with the comedy Club Tour.

Shot at the popular Bordel Comedy Club, the four shows of this new concept were animated on Tuesday and Wednesday, by Rachid Badouri, Sinem Kara, Laurent Paquin and Katherine Levac. They presented humorists from here “who have a little export taste in France”.

At Laurent Paquin’s evening, the guest list counted Simon Boisvert, Gabrielle Caron, Christophe Dupéré, Magali Saint-Vincent, Mibenson Sylvain, Louis T and Daniel Grenier.

Technical constraints

Because several TV cameras were placed in the small room, we had reduced the capacity from 100 to 80 spectators. The technical constraints for the shooting increased the atmosphere a little and sometimes gave us the impression of being on a TV set instead of a comedy club. Despite everything, the show gave a good sample of what Quebec humor is in 2025.

We were afraid that some humorists present adapt their equipment a little too much for the French public, even going so far as to borrow the accent. But no, they delivered their jokes as if they participated in a usual evening at the brothel. One wonders even if Canal+ will add subtitles for certain passages.

At the animation, Laurent Paquin was very well fired. The humorist, who entrusted to Journal That he planned soon to cross the Atlantic to go to play in Europe, brought his excellent concept of very short comic songs delivered with a ukulele.

Magali and Mibenson’s energy

Among the comedians, we particularly liked the energy of Magali Saint-Vincent and Mibenson Sylvain. The first hit the bull’s eye by telling his visit to a sex shop in Japan. The second made us laugh with his hesitations to want to raise his future children according to Quebec or Haitian culture.

The show ended with two sure values, but with very different equipment: Louis T and Daniel Grenier. Speaking of the diagnosis of autism with a high level of operation he received, Louis told you about the problems he had to understand emoticons on his phone. A friend had to explain the drawings one by one. “Doing that at 40 … I know what is the step after: the noise of animals!”

Daniel Grenier followed with his childish jokes, but delivered with contagious energy. One wonders what the French will think of this humorist to the universe so singular, but very endearing.
