Chelsea is champion of the Club World Cup. The English club beat PSG 3-0 on Sunday (13) in New Jersey.
The blues prevented the French club became another champion on the list. After losing to Corinthians in 2012, the English team beat Palmeiras in 2021 and now won their second title.
In all, the tournament has already crowned 32 teams from 11 different countries, including FIFA’s Intercontinental and World Club Cup models. Uruguay’s Peñarol was the first to win the title.
Real Madrid, in turn, is the greatest champion. The Spanish team became a winner of the competition in five different decades, consolidating themselves in isolation. Milan and Bayern Munich are the closest, with five less titles.
Among Brazilians, six clubs have already had the honor of being at the top of the world: São Paulo, Santos, Corinthians, Grêmio, Internacional and Flamengo. Tricolor Paulista is the greatest champion, with three achievements.
