The revelations of Elle magazine last April had the effect of a bomb. Four women, all ex-partner of chef Jean Imbert, testified to domestic, psychological but also physical violence for some, whom they say they were victims during their relationship with the cook.
They described a repeated scheme, facts of denigration, desire for excessive control and jealousy, evoking “the grip” that Jean Imbert had on them. If some had chosen to testify with an open face, others remained anonymous. But at the time of these revelations, all eyes were already turned to Alexandra Rosenfeld, Miss France 2006, with whom chef Jean Imbert was in a relationship from 2013 to 2014.
The young woman had not expressed herself publicly on the subject, until today. This Thursday, August 19, Alexandra Rosenfeld confirmed in an Instagram publication to be Éléonore, the woman who was hiding behind one of the pseudonyms attributed to the ex-partner of Jean Imbert having testified in the investigation of her.
“I’m not Eleonore, I’m Alexandra, and now I’m talking”
“I was called Éléonore. It was a false name but what I said was true. I came back to support those who have become friends. I am not Éléonore, I am Alexandra, and now I speak, ”she wrote, without naming Jean Imbert nevertheless.
“More than ten years ago, I was with someone. He put me a whim, once. But strangely that’s not what marked me. What damaged me was all that was around. Contempt, reductions, silences, words perfectly placed to make me doubt me, of my value. (…) What I experienced was violence, “she continued.
“When I tried to alert, speak, I saw the eyes close”
“It was slow, insidious … the grip. I didn’t even know it’s called like that. I thought the problem was me. I stayed because I loved him. I managed to leave when he turned to another. I was no longer useful, he finally let me go. When I tried to alert, to speak, I saw the eyes close I became the ex jealous ”. And to continue: “I first refused to speak because I had exceeded all this. But I knew they (the other women who spoke, editor’s note) were likely not to be believed. After a great reflection I said yes, not against him, not out of revenge, but for them. For us. »»
The former Miss underlines that no criminal prosecution is engaged against Jean Imbert: “There is no complaint, no trial, it was more than ten years ago and even if I still have this radio (that of his broken nose, editor’s note), which has damaged us is not seen, so how to judge it …”
