The Boss of the KNTXT label offered a fairly accessible and varied tracks in this classic techno universe to towards, what we call minimum techno last night. She started her set by paying tribute to Belgian rave culture since it was on more “retro” and “acid house” notes inspired by the “Sound of Belgium” of the 90s that Charlotte de Witte began hostilities.
This was followed by the classics like the famous “Born Slippy” by Underworld, the soundtrack of “Trainspotting” but also its classics to itself as its version of “The Age of Love” or its “Roar” tube.
Despite the many lasers, the visual aspect has also remained very minimalist with appearances of photos of her on the chained screens of projections of her DJ space in close -up, a cult of the star the star she maintains to perfection. We knew Charlotte de Witte on much more impressive scenic productions than that offered this year in Dour but in any case, one thing is certain, the artist will have conquer the public present en masse in an atmosphere that did not drop any intensity of the whole set.
