The new Marvel fulfills its mission and dominates a top 10… without any French film.
The fantastic four: first steps ends his first weekend at 547,700 admissions, with an average of 40 entries per session (I/S). This is the seventh best launch of 2025 after F1 – including in terms of average per session – therefore exceeding the last Marvel, Captain America: Brave New Worldwhich completed a first weekend at 534,500 tickets (and 36 E/S) last February. This new opus is a success equivalent to that of 4 Fantastic From 2015, which had recorded 541,400 admissions at the end of its first Sunday.
Only other novelty to integrate the top 10, Dangerous Animalslaunched by The Jokers on a large combination, tuties the 66,000 admissions but with a small average of 11 e/s. Between shark and slasher film, this hybrid genre film – which for a reminder made its first at the fifteen filmmakers – is certainly less unifying than the US blockbusters of the moment.
Jurassic World : Renaissance has thus exceeded 2 million spectators this weekend, when F1 displays the best average (30 E/S) among all continuations and, unlike the United States, brings together much more than Superman.
Films young audiences resist, with first Smurfswhich drops by 33 % but brings together an average of 26 spectators per session and already combines 952,000 admissions.
