Eclair & Tonnerre, or the story of two intrepid small fairies is a book by Han Kang and Jin Tae Ram, published by Grasset Jeunesse for 4 -year -old children. However, Or Are you goingSmall feather? by Didier Jean and Zad (Utopian editions) is to be read from the age of 3 years.

It is a dreamlike story that takes the child to discover the origins of lightning and thunder according to Korean tradition.

In the kingdom of the Fairy of the Heaven, those who weave the clouds, two small intrepid fairies decide to go to contemplate the world from below, the earth. Meanwhile,

Before leaving, an old fairy gives them, to one of the small silver spears, to the other, a drum. Thus equipped, they cross opinion children’s books – eclair the black clouds loaded with rain. As they were bored, they began to manipulate the objects that had been given to them. It was then that the spears became lightning and the thunder drum, named after the two small fairies.

The author, Nobel Prize in literature in 2024, handles a magnificent language of poetry. It is accompanied by delicate and frothy illustrations that take us into the Korean Fairies’ Kingdom.
