The 44 -year -old singer, a former member of the Boys Band Nsync, whose world tour has just ended, spoke on Instagram on Thursday, July 31. “It was the most fun, moving, gratifying, physically trying and sometimes exhausting experience”he said about this tour, which has aroused many criticism from certain fans, especially for the artist’s lack of energy on stage. “Among other things, I had to face health problems, and I was diagnosed with Lyme disease – which I am not saying so that you have mercy on me, but to give an overview of what I had to face behind the scenes”Justin Timberlake revealed.
“Living with this can be continuously invalidating, both mentally and physically. When I received the diagnosis, I was of course shocked. But at least I could understand why I had intense nervous pain on stage, or why I felt extremely tired or sick”he added.
Lyme disease is an infectious disease due to a bacteria transmitted to humans by infected tick bites. This condition is rarely fatal, but infected people often have a rash and suffer from pseudo-Grippal symptoms, including muscle and joint pain, headache, nausea and vomiting.
