On the occasion of the release of the new collaborative album of Babymetal, Joakim Brodén returns to the atypical experience lived with the Japanese group in 2019, while preparing the next ALive and Sabaton studio.
Joakim Brodén et le souvenir d ‘Oh! Majinai
In an interview with Once !g!the singer of Sabaton tells of his first mixed impression on Babymetal, of which he had heard of only name, before completely changing his mind after having seen them on stage. Invited to sing on Oh! Majinai In 2019, he remembers a recording session in Osaka where, in his words, he ended the day “almost speechless” after multiple sockets. He also evokes a surprising appearance during a concert in Tokyo, propelled from a stage hatch with “a bazooka and a cigar” in hand.
Two groups still turned to news
This reminiscence comes when Babymetal has just published Metal Fortha disc rich in collaborations with, among others, Tom Morello, Poppy or Spiritbox, which we were talking about here. For his part, Sabaton is preparing the release of his eleventh album Legendsexpected on October 17 via Better Noise Music, and is about to start The Legendary Tour in Europe.
