Pauline is the woman of her life. They travel around the world, they live a crazy life to the rhythm of the concerts of the groups formed by the author (sexy sushi, kompromat …). One day in Mexico, a size within Pauline. They don’t pay attention. Back in Paris a few weeks later, the diagnosis fell: cancer, at 28 years old…. So let’s say the story of a long suffering from the young woman struggling. But also of the one who accompanies him thinking almost three years, with the maximum of loyalty, strength and also a little rage and a sense of survival …
A raw and authentic story
Mûri for almost 10 years, this text nevertheless retains its emergency. Still in suffering, Rebeka Warrior is also of a terrible honesty on the difficulty of being helping a person who is adored and who faces cancer. The descent into hell never ends, and for the couple and for them, which is in fact its mourning even though her great love still lives. Drugs (s), leaks, philosophy studies, readings of white males (Rousseau, Marc-Aurèle …) and DJ sets punctuate a long phase of terrible waiting … which also leads to a Buddhist and Zen spiritual quest. The language, it follows the harshness of the story and the phases of loss, between raw poetry, lists and long introspections. It is anything but fragmentary, it is totalizing, it is sometimes perhaps a little thick, but the rage and the calm rub shoulders there in a text which takes at the guts.
