A little over a year ago, Progress presented the professional retraining of Aurélien Jacob, former forest operator of Belley, who trained in the profession of actor and wanted to live from his passion.

First spotted by a Lyon casting director, then by others then, Aurélien Jacob chained the tests for TV movies and feature films, obtained from the roles of silhouettes but more and more more substantial roles.

He thus shot in around thirty films or series for television, as well as for some advertisements on the web.
On the sets, he thus had the opportunity to turn alongside Benoît Magimel, Isabelle Nanty, Muriel Robin, Ophélia Kolb, Tomer Sisley, Léa Drucker, Barbara Schulz, Laurent Gerra…
“I am now referenced on consumer and professional platforms”
Today, he managed to join a Parisian agency, a key partner to access castings and support the career development of actors in a very competitive environment.
“I am now referenced as a French actor on consumer and professional platforms (Allociné, IMDB, Filmmakers …)”, explains Le Belleysan.
Currently filming for two series of TF1 where he interpreted a cooking teacher and a supervisor in a medical institute, he will join a new film set at the start of the school year alongside Isabelle Nanty for the series Spy then will play the role of a farmer father in a TV movie produced by France 3 in the fall.
