Is it a simple coincidence or a consequence of controversy? After having been targeted by many criticisms for having mimicked an obscene gesture on stage, the singer and humorist show Patrick Sébastien was deprogrammed by a festival in the Alpes-Maritimes, officially for “technical reasons”, indicate Nice-Matin and BFMTV this Friday.
On July 22, during a show at the Cap d’Agde campsite, in Hérault, the host was indeed surprised to mimic – or to carry out, according to the testimonies collected by Mediapart -, a blowjob with a woman invited on stage. An act which shocked several members of the public, which included in particular minors.
The campsite management quickly apologized to the vacationers who witnessed this shocking episode “, recognizing that” sexual behavior had briefly produced, in a completely unpredictable way “.
A “very big truck”
Patrick Sébastien’s lawyer assures that it was a “mimed” scene, and challenged “any sexual behavior”.
Since then, the arrival of Patrick Sébastien at the “Humor et Danse” theater festival, on August 8 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, in the Alpes-Maritimes, has been canceled, reports Nice-Matin. But the president and organizer of the festival provides BFMTV that this cancellation “is not linked” to the controversy.
This decision, “not yet official”, is explained by “technical and logistical reasons”. In question, in particular, “a very big truck” by the artist who would not pass in the “small town”. Spectators who wanted to attend the Patrick Sébastien show will be reimbursed.
