The Californian group AFI announces the release of its twelfth album, Silver Bleeds The Black Sun…scheduled for October 3 via Run For Cover Records, and unveils a first bewitching extract, Behind The Clock.

The first single, Behind The Clockis accompanied by a clip produced by Gilbert Trejo. The director explains: “We wanted the video to give the impression that you see something you shouldn’t. This is exactly what Davey does with his words: he is so openly expressed that he lets us see. the back of the scene.” For his part, singer Davey Havok adds: “Gilbert’s vision has sublimated the essence of Behind The Clock. Working with him was a privilege and total joy. He is an artist in the purest sense.”
A dense. poetic and experimental disc
The ten pieces of the album promise to be rich in contrasts, mixing darkness and majesty. The tracklist includes in particular The Bird of afi begins new era silver Prey, Holy Visions, Blasphemy and Excess or VOIDWARD, I BEND BACK. The disc will be supported by a North American tour which will start at the end of September.
