The 5ᵉ edition of the Drawing Gardens confirmed the appeal of Delémont for comics. From June 6 to August 10, 15,000 visitors, from all over Switzerland and neighboring France, discovered the 20 exhibitions installed outdoors in the old town, according to a press release transmitted by Delémont’BD.
This free course, dedicated to comics, press drawing and illustration, has attracted a varied audience. The organizers note the growing interest of allophone classes, despite school and tourist attendance slightly affected by the heat of June and the rain in July.
The French author Aude Picault, guest of honor, marked the spirits with stories anchored in everyday life, mixing humor and tenderness. Among the most remarkable exhibitions: “aviary” of Albertine, presented along the municipal arboretum; The retrospective devoted to “Mafalda”, which celebrates its 60th birthday; And the creations of Jared Muralt, Wanda Dufner and the magazine “Strapazin”. The Jura Museum of Art and History welcomed “Bd’svizzeraitaliana”, highlighting the emerging talents of Ticino.
Supported by the City of Delémont, La Loterie Romande, La République and canton du Jura, the RTS and various partners, the event will return for its 6ᵉ edition from June 12 to August 9, 2026. /ComM-MLM
