Yasin Özcan, a golden blow for Anderlecht? Here is that Sporting can expect from the new phenomenon of Turkish football – all football

Anderlecht announced today the arrival of one of the greatest talents in Turkish football. Yasin Özcan, only 19, already has a good pick for defense.

Yasin Özcan is a hurried man. He made his debut in Turkish Süper Lig at the age of only 16 and has already played 90 high -level games since then, oscillating between the left -back and the heart of the defense. His experience at such a young age is exceptional, which explains that he has been in the small papers of the Turkish national team for some time.

The defender grew up in Sivas, a city in Central Anatolia. He has been wearing number 58 for years – a nod to the number on the license plates of his native region. His physique was already distinguished since childhood, when he played more matches than his comrades of his age, distributed in different teams of young people.

Marqué Par Burak Yılmaz

The one who turned out to be with Kasimpasa was originally an attacker, but due to his speed and his size, he was gradually moved back to the ground. First as offensive left back, then as a central defender. This flexibility could also be useful to Anderlecht, where Loyal restructure its defense.

Özcan worked in Kasımpaşa under the direction of Burak Yılmaz, the former international known for his demanding approach. “Even if I played well, he emphasized each little error,” recalls Özcan. A rigor that has undoubtedly already prepared it for that of Besnik Hasi.

The Anderlecht coach can be delighted to have a new profile of choice in defense. In June, Yasin Özcan made his debut in the Turkish national team against Mexico, and he was even in the preselection for the Euro. Vincenzo Montella hesitated until the last moment to take the young defender, who consoled himself with a transfer to 7 million to Aston Villa. Loaned by the Villans, he will first be able to agree with Anderlecht… who still negotiated a purchase option.
