Last year, the prequel Without a noise: day 1 had not been directed by Krasinski butparamount by Michael Sarnoski. Without a noise 3 will mark the return of the creator of the franchise to the realization, writing and production of the feature film, to the delight of fans. Last March, producer Brad Fuller reassured the public for the SXSW festival (South by Southwest) confirming that the third opus was indeed topical, but that John Krasinski was still too busy to get there:
