Relatives of Freddie Mercury dispute the testimony of her supposed hidden daughter, who speaks for the first time

Just under a month before the release of Love, Freddie: Freddie Mercury’s Secret Life and Lovea biography dedicated to Queen’s singer, voices get up and contradict each other. The book, signed by the British Lesley-Ann Jonesattacks the singer’s privacy by giving the floor to a certain Bwho claims to be his hidden daughter. But his testimony struggles to convince the singer’s relatives.

“Freddie Mercury was and is my father,” says B between the pages. We have had a very close and loving relationship from my birth and during the last fifteen years of his life ”. The book advances that B would have been born from the adventure of an evening of the showman with the wife of one of her friends in 1976. The one who wishes to keep anonymity affirms that Freddie Mercury was a present father who “cherished her as a precious good”. Just before his disappearance, he would have given him seventeen newspapers from which he would have started writing when he learned that he was going to become a father. She would also have touched part of her inheritance, through a “private and legal arrangement”.

The book claims that some of Mercury’s relatives were aware. Among them, his parents, his sister, his group comrades, but also Mary Austinher eternal confidante. Freddie and Mary met at the dawn of Queen’s formation, went together 1970, and never left each other anymore. Of lovers, they became friends when, six years after the formalization of their relationship, the singer told him to be homosexual. “The only friend I have is Mary, and I don’t want anyone else. We believe in the other, that is enough for me, “he said in 1985. The singer, disappeared in 1991, of the complications of AIDS, bequeathed his house and half his inheritance to him.
