The amateur photographer offers a trip to the diversity of Chenôve in 160 pages.
Communiqué of the association Ensemble for Chenôve of July 11, 2025:
Moment of great satisfaction a few days ago at ESAT ACODEGE in Marsannay-la-Côte for the managers of the association Ensemble pour Chenove with the presentation of the photo book “Chenôve in Côte-d’Or”, directed by Joël Fanet, amateur photographer and also treasurer of the association.
As a publisher, we had invited those who made it possible to publish this work, namely the sponsors, mainly members of the Grand Sud club co-led by Céline Poillot and Thierry Durand. This book is intended to be a new business card of the 3rd city of the Côte d’Or through its different facets: the heart of the city, the old town, the economic zone of the south and of course the set which constitutes a formidable reserve for biodiversity.
Most recently released from the presses, this 160 -page book was produced by the Leonard de Chenôve printing house, the director Julio Morgado, was present and very moved to see his “baby” being unanimous among the guests.
He returned to the president of the association, Gaby Blondaux, to welcome the participants and make a quick summary of the process by obviously citing all the sponsors present or represented. And it is thanks to them that this book was born without any public subsidy.
Thus were warmly thanked the Club Grand Sud, the Crédit Mutuel de Chenôve represented by its director Christophe de Oliveira and our customer advisor Quentin Lariotte, the Orpi agency in Chenôve with its director Fred Vaussard who was invited to speak by explaining with great emotion also to have been touched by the fact that we entrusted him with the preface to the work. Child of Chenôve having attended school groups and the football club, he was then for more than 15 years pressing press at the BP and director of real estate agency since 2007. Suffice to say that he also likes this city and that he wants to value it and make it discover all his wealth.
Other partners were present as Mongi Bahri, director of the Axa Chenôve agency, Jean Chrisophe Drouot Commercial and Communication Director of the Doras group as well as our administrators, Monique Cote.
Some of our generous donors had apologized: Pierre Konczewski of the Auditiv ‘agency’, Vincent Remond Director of Hyper Buro, the Pagot & Savoie agency, Sylvain Pataille winegrower in Chenôve and Marsannay-la-Côte as well as Bernard Bouvier, president of the defense and management organization (ODG) also winegrower -Side.
In his remarks, Gaby Blondaux warmly thanked Cyrielle Sauvagnat, director of the Plurielle agency and who ensured the communication linked to the release of the book.
It was to the artist, Joël Fanet, that he returned to conclude the speaking. He made a quick return on his professional career by evoking his historical passion for photography. In love with his city that he travels every day from large, he told us his pleasure to see this work finally concretized and highly anticipated. Over the pages and whatever the seasons, the city is revealed and reveals its great diversity.
This project, imagined for about a year, has found its right reward. Joël Fanet’s joy and satisfaction were all the more perceptible since his family joined him for this evening.
A friendly moment has enabled the members present to exchange and formulate their feelings: the work is unanimously the quality of its making, the high level of definition of photogravure and the rarity of certain images which all sign the identity and diversity of the city.
Some of the sponsors have suggested that this book be offered as a gift to several of their customers as a business card which further strengthens their territorial anchoring. A great gift idea for the holidays, birthdays or simply to share your attachment to our city and remember good memories for those from Chenôve, who have made their residential career in another city!
