Ziad Rahbani was a writer, salt, musician and theatrical lover of art. He did not survive his criticism. especially in his first years of brilliance, the art of his traditional and folklore parental.

In recent years, Ziad Rahbani has suffered from a healthy deterioration that affected his artistic activity.

Who is Ziyad Rahbani?

• Ziyad was born on January 1, 1956. His mother is Nihad Haddad, a world -famous singer known as turquoise. And his father is Assi Rahbani, one of the two Rahbani brothers in the Lebanese music and theater.
• In the year 1973. Ziad Rahbani, who was 17 years old, presented the first tune of his mother Fayrouz when his father was in the hospital, and that was for the famous song “They asked me people”, which was very successful.

• Ziad married Mrs. Dalal Karam. but he later separated from her, then he was linked to the Lebanese artist Carmen Labs for 15 years, before they separated later.

Government reactions

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called him a post on the X platform, saying, “Ziad Rahbani was not just an artist, but rather an integrated intellectual and cultural situation, and more … He was a living conscience, a rebellious voice on injustice, and painful loss fayrouz .. death a sincere mirror.”

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote. “In the absence of Ziyad Rahbani, Lebanon is losing an exceptional creative artist and a free voice that remained faithful to the values of justice and dignity.

He added. “From the stage, and in music and the word, Ziad said that what many did not dare to say, and touched the hopes of the Lebanese for decades.”

As he was inherited by the Minister of Culture. Ghassan Salama, saying, “We were afraid of this day because we knew the exacerbation of his health and the diminishing of his desire to treat. The plans for his perceptions in Lebanon. abroad have turned into mere obsolete ideas because Ziyad no longer finds the ability to visualize the treatment and the processes that it requires.
