The flagship recruit of Lille, striker Olivier Giroud, scored a double in his second friendly match under his new colors, against Venice (3-0 victory) at the Domaine de Luchin, the LOSC training center.
The 2018 world champion, author of 57 goals in the French team, brought his team to this convincing success, a few days after difficult beginnings in the DOGUES jersey, marked by a 3-2 defeat in Dortmund.

Alone at the heart of the surface, he picked up a pass on the ground of Hakon Haraldsson to open the scoring (20th).
