In lack of playing time at the Standard, a young man of the club interests another D1A club – the last transfers

Standard has recruited enormously this summer, and must therefore still degrease somewhat. Léandre Kuavita could pay the price.

Léandre Kuavita (21 years old) has become an important holder last season at Standard, playing 42 games in all competitions (2 goals, 3 assists) by taking advantage of his remarkable versatility (he can evolve to all the friends of the midfield and on the left side).

But Kuavita is this time the victim of the strong competition installed by Marc Wilmots within the number 16 at the end of a hyperactive transfer window. Useful everywhere, but excellent nowhere, the product of the Liège training center is now a lining, and has only gone to the game twice on the first four games.

Kuavita in Saint-Trond?

A departure is therefore on the agenda: we have already known for some time that Léandre Kuavita had received his exit voucher. Now, we know that Club is interested in his case: according to information from Sacha Tavolieri, it would be Saint-Trond.

The Trudonnaire Club is in great need of Belgians to compose its nucleus, and would therefore have manifested itself with the Standard concerning a loan for the coming season. But the Liège club hopes to sell its player, estimated at 1.5 million euros on Transfer market.

Trained in Verviers, Eupen and then at the Standard from his 15th birthday, Kuavita then went through the driving age groups, with the exception of 6 months on loan to Genoa in 2023. After a season within SL 16 in Challenger Pro League, he joined the team has last season.
