The Swiss International is in the process of departure in Toulouse, where he is the captain. Valaisan would have agreed with Al-Shabab, which evolves in Saudi Pro League.

Vincent Sierro has played 90 matches with Téfécé since his arrival in January 2023.

Everything seems ready for Vincent Sierro to leave the Toulouse FC and Ligue 1 to join Al-Shabab and the Saudi Pro League. According to information from the media “Arriyadiyah”, relayed by “the team” on Friday evening, the Swiss international (13 selections, a goal) – present at Euro 2024 in Germany – agreed with the Gulf club for a contract on the next two years.

The transfer of the Valais midfielder, trained in FC Sion, seems to be made for several weeks. If he has not yet been formalized, it is only for financial and administrative reasons, reports the French daily.

The Saudi championship has indeed just created a financial sustainability committee to ensure that all the clubs engaged in the League respect the specifications imposed on them. This novelty, which is just in place, would explain why several transactions to the Saudi Pro League have not yet been confirmed.

According to a source cited by “the team”, the departure of the Captain of Toulouse after two and a half years of good and loyal service – he notably won the Coupe de France in 2023 – to Saudi Arabia is however no doubt.

Vincent Sierro is now part of the Swiss team manager.

“It will be settled all at once and several clubs will then announce transfers that were pending,” she explains anonymously. In other words, as soon as the Saudi clubs receive the endowments of last season which are promised to them.

Under contract with Téfécé until 2026, Vincent Sierro no longer trained with the club of Haute-Garonne, specifies “the team”. The amount of the transfer of the former Freiburg player, Saint-Gall and Young Boys should amount to nearly three million francs. By joining the Gulf, the one who also interested several European displacements will discover, at 29, a fourth country.
