On the occasion of the literary school year, Fnac is organizing an exceptional evening in the prestigious La Piscine de Roubaix museum, which will bring together writers who will make the news of this literary season.
This free event, hosted by Hubert Artus, will be punctuated by two trays during which the authors will be invited to exchange around a theme.
The evening will continue with a showcase by the artist Sopico.
First tray : Wars of yesterday or today: the weight of words
With Rachid Benzine and Michel Bussi
In The man who read books (Julliard), Rachid Benzine offers a humanist fable on the current tragedy in Gaza.
As for Michel Bussi, in his new novel, The shadows of the world (Presses de la Cité), he leaves the shores of the suspense thriller to plant his pen in the civil war and the genocide in Rwanda thirty years ago.
They will put words on our ills.
Second tray : Secret links, essential links
With Marie Semelin and Séverine Cressan
Discovery tray, with two first novels.
In Certainties (JC Lattès), journalist Marie Semelin explores both a beautiful friendship between two women of different generations, and the cross trajectories of characters located between Jerusalem and Ramallah
Séverine Cressan explores in Nannies (Dalva), another maternity, through the figures of nurses and nourishing mothers.
Concert Live of Sopio
Sopico is an artist who is distinguished by his hybrid style, mixing rap, acoustic guitar, electro rock and poetry. It is not satisfied with the classic rap codes: it transcends them with often intimate performances, where the guitar holds a central place. Carried by an introspective and free feather, its writing is metaphorical, sensitive and open to interpretation, which allows it to stand out from the more classic narrations of rap. He tackles deep themes with raw sincerity, which can create a strong emotional connection with the public.
4 years later Clouds, Fly mehis second album marks in 16 titles a return to more electro productions while preserving his sensitive and captivating pen.
