Similarly, a book written and illustrated by the students of the two classes of CE2, CM1, CM2 of the Notre Dame d’Algelès-Gazost school during the school year 2024-2025.
In this fantastic encyclopedia notre-dame students dictionary. Nevertheless, we discover animals encountered in the depths of the Pyrenees mountains, or rather deep in the imagination of these young students in the valley. “Among these fantastic creations. we find the Crassan, at the head of toad and with a pheasant’s body, myopic with large eyes, a funny animal, which lives near Lake Lourdes. We also discover an eternal animal. the Louvre, Mi Loup, Mi hare, lonely and without family, which digs underground, and makes babies all alone!” presents one of the young students.
From a draw for very real animals of animals living in the Pyrenees. 45 bizarre animals were thus invented and created from scratch by the budding authors, one animal per student. This book was produced during writing workshops led by Christelle de Bilbao, in partnership with the Argelès-Gazost media library. During a quarter. Christelle was welcomed every month in the classes of Matthieu Roullier-Gall and Héloïse Ignolin, in order to help and accompany children to describe what they imagined in this dictionary. And as evidenced by the librarian, “the students really invested in the creation and writing of this book. Strongly motivated by the publication of the book, they showed a great enthusiasm, and above all an overflowing imagination”.
