D’Astad Liest: one last week under the sign of reading

Stad Liest’s outdoor literary meeting lives its last days on the Place de la Constitution. Furthermore, An open library under the gaze of the Gëlle Fra invites reading enthusiasts. The artist Anna d’astad liest: one last week Felke offers her performance “Das Lebende Buch”, an original meeting between literature, image and sound. In this singular staging. the book can no longer be read only, it listed, looks and felt, transforming reading into a real immersive experience.

Saturday will be particularly festive and shot to the youngest. In the morning. the author Sylvie Collignon will lead children from four years old in a Luxembourg reading full of fantasy and tenderness, entitled “Mir Danze Foxtrott Duerch d’Astad Lëtzebuerg”. Between play of words. dancing rhythm, the story celebrates the childish imagination and the pleasure of playing with the sounds of a language.

In the afternoon, creativity will be deployed in another form with an origami workshop hosted by Kyoji Yamazaki. Intended for children from the age of eight. but open to all the curious, this workshop offers to learn the basics of Japanese art of folding paper.
