Perlen-Buchrain (2nd)-Lucerne 0: 3
FC Lucerne has overcome the first hurdle in the Swiss Cup effortlessly, but also lackluster. In the cantonal derby at FC Perlen-Buchrain, the team of coach Mario Frick won 3-0. The game in front of over 4,400 fans was decided after 14 minutes. FCL striker Adrian Grbic had hit twice at that time (9/14) and thus caused Lucerne security early on. A good 10 minutes after his 2-0, the Austrian had to be replaced injured – a drop of bitterness.
His replacement man, the only 17-year-old Andrej Vasovic, was ideal in the Lucerne collective. After a fine interface pass from Tyron Owusu, the Swiss U18 international set the first goal in the professional area before the break to 3: 0 (37th). In the second half, the FCL noticeably took the foot of the gas. An honorary gate no longer wanted to succeed. Goalie Pascal Loretz did not remain very unemployed.
